However, contrary to assumptions, Salman Khan is not leaving the show post the heated discussion on the last episode of Weekend Ka Vaar. According to a report in India Today, the makers of Bigg Boss have decided to extend the current season for another month considering the TRPs it is garnering after all the fights on the show. Bigg Boss 8 was earlier supposed to end on January 4 but has now been extended to end sometime in February. As a result, Salman's dates are unavailable for the month of January when he is shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. After considering options like Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor, the makers have apparently zeroed down on Farah Khan to host the reality show. The filmmaker who has just delivered the hit film, Happy New Year, is reportedly a huge fan of the reality show.
