What the song mean to me: It's amazing how easy it is to get caught up and confused in life. Happiness is a simple thing. We just complicate it. The title "Goodbye" is ironic because it's NOT a goodbye to a lost significant other. It's a goodbye to the distractions and shinny things that ultimately prevent us from be happy. If you have people that care about you and you are given the opportunity to share yourself with them. Do it.
