- description: Staff at the University of Sydney are currently involved in an industrial dispute with the university's management over the terms and conditions of their collective workplace agreement. Union members at the university voted to take further industrial action on Tuesday May 14 and will be on strike for the third time in two months. The federal government's announcement of another round of funding cuts to the higher education budget on 13 April will only increase the pressure on staff to do more with less, and threaten the quality and future of education. Support staff at the University of Sydney in the fight for quality education, job security and rights at work. Join NTEU members at the pickets of the university entrances from 7 am on 14 May, and for the National Protest from 12.30pm at Victoria Park.
