Utterly lovely. But we've all had bad days and just because someone isn't overly friendly doesn't mean they're horrible. They might be tired? Unwell? Fight with the boyfriend or girlfriend? So always ere on the side of niceness :) NEVER EVER EVER go to a counter and test test test without the intention of buying! Its just plain rude! I'm talking to you here MANDY! lol Ask for samples: There is little to no reason for them not to give you a sample - particularly if you are looking for a new foundation etc... It might break you out? You might react to it? And asking for a sample is not a crime. If they can't or don't provide you with it - then bring your own empty jar. If they still don't - then go elsewhere. No one likes pushy sales staff. Its never nice and after politely telling them you'r fine looking, most will leave you alone until you're ready. If they keep persisting then of course, move away. Get a make over! You can learn some amazing skill, tips etc... and most of the time its free or you will get the value back in makeup that you buy. Wonderful way to buy and get a great service. MAC do these amazingly well (normally). Makeup friends withe the counter staff. Most are lovely, can become friends and give you a wealth of information for free and those that truly love their job will love to talk to you about the upcoming makeup releases.
