The incident is not thought to be terror related and all passengers are safe. One picture shared on Twitter appears to show the engine that wasn't on fire exposed as it is overworked. One London Fire Brigade crew is attending the scene although the fire is now believed to be out. Emergency vehicles surrounded the plane and emergency chutes could be seen being deployed There is speculation that the plane had run into a flock of birds. The plane landed on the northern runway which remains shut but the southern runway has now been reopened. Les deux pistes d'Heathrow ont été fermées momentanément vendredi après un incident impliquant un avion qui n'a pas fait de blessés, a indiqué une porte-parole de l'aéroport international londonien. "Les deux pistes sont actuellement fermées", a déclaré à l'AFP une porte-parole d'Heathrow, premier aéroport au monde par le trafic international de passagers. "L'incident a impliqué un avion. Tout le monde a été évacué sans problème", a-t-elle ajouté, sans plus de précisions. Selon la chaîne de télévision Sky News, un avion a été contraint d'effectuer un atterrissage d'urgence.
