- description: Very bright fireball over the South of Spain on 15 Nov. at 2:55 UT (3: 55 local time). It belongs to the Southern Taurids meteor shower. The event took place during the Super Moon and was produced by a fragment from Comet 2P/Encke that hit the atmosphere at about 110.000 km/h. The bolide began at a height of about 108 km over the province of Granada and ended at an altitude of 60 km over the south of the province of Jaen. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Impresionante bola de fuego que sobrevoló Andalucía en la madrugada del 15 de noviembre, durante la Super Luna, a las 3:55 hora local. El fenómeno se produjo por el impacto contra la atmósfera, a unos 110 mil km/h, de un fragmento desprendido del Cometa 2P/Encke. La bola de fuego se inició a una altitud de unos 108 km sobre el norte de la provincia de Granada, y se extinguió a una altura de unos 60 km sobre el sur de la provincia de Jaén. El bólido está asociado a la lluvia de meteoros de las Táudidas Sur.
