- description: Couldn't wait for MineZ to finish, so I made my own zombie apocalypse mod for Minecraft. This was my first real attempt at making a Minecraft mod. Pretty happy for how it is now, but it's still a work in progress. One thing I really want to add is giving each building the possibility of having a chest with items dependant on the building's type (e.g. food in houses, building materials in halls). Download the file you want to install 2. On windows, type %appdata% into the filepath bar at the top of any folder window. Hit enter, go into .minecraft, then bin. You should see a minecraft.jar file. 3. Open your 1.2.5 minecraft.jar with winrar, 7zip, or something equivalent. 4. Delete the META-INF folder 5. Drag and drop all files inside the mod you downloaded into the minecraft.jar, replacing all existing files. 6. close, run minecraft. comment with any issues.
