Earlier this month burglary suspect Arthur Booth broke down in tears when he realised the judge setting his bail - Mindy Glazer - was a classmate he used to play football with. https://youtu.be/aOmOqT6NBaQ Then on Monday, Judge Glazer twigged that the man appearing before her on a fraud charge, Alon Glenn, had just stepped off the same Caribbean cruise liner as her. The judge remembered Glenn being picked up after disembarking from the Carnival Breeze ship when it arrived in South Florida, reports Local 10. Judge Glazer was on holiday with her family at the same time as the suspect. Glenn replies: "Yes" "Me too," says the judge. "Isn't that cool? "Did you have a nice cruise? I'm glad to be back at work. I had to watch four kids." Glenn then asked if the judge had seen him taking part in a dance contest, to which Glazer said: "You were dancing? I was upstairs in the shade." People in the courtroom can be heard laughing in the background. "It was a fun time, huh?" asks the judge. A rather despondent Glenn replies: "Yes, but this is crazy" Judge Glazer said: "I am sorry you have to go through this sir." Glenn requested to receive bond, but was denied as the case is from Georgia. Judge Mindy GlazerShocked: Judge Mindy Glazer recognised stunned burglary suspect Arthur Booth at a hearing earlier this month Judge Glazer seemed to side with Glenn, saying that if he had wanted to flee, he could have done so in the various ports visited by the ship. "If he wanted to flee, he would fled in, what was it, St. Maarten's, St. Kitts, Puerto Rico?" said Glazer, naming the destinations. "But he came back." On July 2, Glazer had an unexpected reunion with Arthur Booth, a well-liked former classmate of hers who she used to play football with as a child. The judge set Booth's bail at $44,000 (£28,000).
