There really wasn't much of a difference in my hair color. I just wanted to take out the golden/orange tones from my hair without having to bleach it. I used a ashy tone that has a bit of green in it. Green cancels out red. If you plan on using this method, know that you won't see a huge difference. After about a month, your hair will most likely fade back to the golden tone.
