ThangaMeenkal (Tamil: தங்க மீன்கள்; Golden Fishes) is an Indian drama film written and directed by Ram. This is his second directorial venture after the much acclaimed Kattradhu Thamizh. Ram plays the lead role alongside several newcomers. Thangameenkal is produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon's Photon Kathaas. After the success of Kattradhu Thamizh in 2007, Ram again joins his hands with Yuvan Shankar Raja to compose film score and soundtrack for Thanga Meenkal. The lyrics have been penned by Na. Muthukumar, who also penned the lyrics in Kattradhu Thamizh.
