- description: I was asked to develop a highly affordable, intuitive glove controller for an RC car; here is the early prototype. It is based on an Arduino (clone), which is connected to the hacked original remote, and to a glove fitted with an analog-output accelerometer and strategically-placed conductive fabric pieces that serve as switches. The controlling gestures were designed so that they would be easy to perform, not overly sensitive, and as safe as possible from accidental activation or conflict (hence the seemingly odd 'Reverse' command). It's really fun and responsive, but unfortunately less so when one tries to operate a camera in the other hand... :-) P.S. Don't ask for the code or schematics, it's all too specific, tailored and fine-tuned to the exact components I had.
