In a blistering finish to the 160- kilometre stage, Belfast-born Hawkins took fourth place on the day, clocking 3 hours 23 minutes and 57 seconds - the same time as Stage winner Seán Archbold of the Belgium An Post Chainreaction Seán Kelly team. Marcin Bialoblocki of Britain UK Youth Pro Cycling and Jasper De Buyst of the Belgium National Team complete the day's podium, finishing the stage second and third respectively. Fraser Duncan, riding for the Dublin West Eurocycles team, took the county riders jersey from Stage One winner Conor Dunne of Tipperary Carrick Iverk Produce. Day Three takes the peloton more than 140 kilometres from Nenagh to Listowel.
