The video cannot be independently verified but a number of overseas news agencies believe it to be legitimate. It shows the plane falling out of the sky near Bagram and crashing in a massive explosion. The video was caught on a dashboard camera of a passing car. The news agencies say the plane was owned by American company National Air Cargo and crashed shortly after take-off. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the crash, but NATO has denied any militant involvement. The cause of the crash is still unknown. Witnesses said the plane reached an altitude of about 400 metres before suddenly "falling out of the sky", said Bagram's district governor, Abdul Shukor. The crash comes two days after four military personnel were killed in a plane crash in the southern Afghan province of Zabul. Nato officials said was no military activity involved with that crash either. No copyright infringement intended.
