Fucking Vegas. I had to cut an entire section of the video due to Vegas freaking out. It's so odd... Vegas doesn't want to use all of my RAM. I can't figure out for the life of me why... it's all good, and other programs can access it just fine. 3rd, as I said in the vid, I'm gonna be busy IRL for a bit. There will be some vids in December, but don't expect 2-3 videos a week like now! I've uploaded about 15-20 videos a month for three months now. That's CRAZY. I need to focus on my IRL stuff and also actually GAMING for a bit! When I make a video, I spend a lot more time working on the vid than I do playing a game. I could half-ass em, but it's not my style. 4th, a friend asked me what I think about major "gaming news" sites jacking my swaggah..... Meh, fuck `em. Well, I could leave it at that, but I'll say more. A journalist's job is to get people's attention. That is quite literally what they get paid to do. It isn't how things SHOULD be, but that's how it is... both for game news agencies and the whole CNN / Fox / BBC crowd. Journalistic integrity basically seems to be a pipe dream. There are a few guys out there trying to do it right, but not many. And realistically, if you want to release the hottest news for every game there is, you're gonna have to jack people's shit. Even if you were COOL Serdash, best gamer in the world, you CAN'T find every secret or tip for every game. So what do these "news" and "help" sites do? They aggregate content from other places... sometimes giving credit, but usually just heisting it. And I guess it doesn't matter much to me. I'm not a "journalist." I'm a gamer. I make videos for you guys- my friends. If the big boys take note, copy, and propagate something of mine.... then it's good in the long run, because more people will see what I wanted them to see, even if my name's not attached. Besides that, a gamer knows a gamer. You guys know what's up. If the big boys have 1 million hits and I have 10k, it's fine. My video is for the 10k badass bros who watched it. Sorry for the long-winded rant, but I've been thinking about this since my first Dark Souls videos started popping up with commercials on other people's sites (or being wholesale copied and recreated... don't kid yourself, it's the same thing). It bothered me at first, but an old friend reminded me "Marcus you're just a Mississippi boy with a mic and a controller." Can't argue with that, ya'll! ps- if you read all that, you're a goddamn boss. I wrote a textbook without realizing it... bonus lyric time. "love is in the water love is in the air, show me where to look, tell me will love be there"
