- description: This week during our full time winter van life escapades we endure temperatures of -17 degrees C and get stuck in sub zero weather - honestly it was a tough one and freezing cold! Winter camping and living in a van can be so much fun but also really difficult if you're living off grid and don't get that much needed solar power! Our epic Scandinavian adventure is only just starting and we're already facing wintry conditions, skidding on roads of ice, deep snow and all in our 2 wheel drive motorhome which definitely prefers the sunshine to the snow! We show you driving in the snow is not really fun. These winter wonderlands are extraordinary - the most magical scenes ever! We feel so lucky to be able to just drive here in our van and experience winter van life during Christmas time.
