Check out Steve and Trisha over at SourceFed Nerd: http://www.youtube.com/sourcefednerd http://www.twitter.com/sourcefednerd Get our cookbook at any one of these online stores: http://books.simonandschuster.com/Epic-Meal-Time/Josh-Elkin/9781476746012 http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/147674601X/simonsayscom http://www.booksamillion.com/ncom/books?isbn=147674601X http://www.indiebound.org/book/9781476746012 http://www.amazon.com/Epic-Meal-Time-ebook/dp/B00DX0F4GY/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1377531556&sr=1-1&keywords=epic+meal+time https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/isbn9781476746029 What You'll Need (Tools & Ingredients) : - 2 mixing bowls - 2 baking trays - 1 large Ziploc bag 1 small Ziploc bag - 1 pack of bacon - 2 cups of brown sugar - 1/3 cup of cinnamon - 2 cups of whole milk or whipping cream - 2 tablespoons of sugar - 1 teaspoon of vanilla - 12 tablespoons of coarse salt - 4 cups of crushed ice - 1 cup of softened butter - 1 cup of white sugar - 2 eggs - 2 teaspoons of vanilla - 3 cups of all purpose flour - 1 teaspoon of baking soda - 2 teaspoons of hot water - 1/2 teaspoon of salt - 2 cups of chocolate chips Step 1 - Slice one package of bacon Step 2 - Fry the bacon on high heat Step 3 - Add 1 liter of butter milk into a large ziploc bag Step 4 - Also add 2 teaspoons of vanilla Step 5 - Add 1 cup of white sugar Step 6 - Place all the crushed ice into an even larger ziploc freezer bag Step 7 - Add 1 cup of salt to the bag of ice Step 8 - Place smaller milk bag (sealed) into larger ice bag Step 9 - Shake it around Step 10 - Add one cup of brown sugar and half a cup of cinnamon to the bacon Step 11 - Mix Step 12 - Place bag of crystallized milk in the freezer to harden Step 13 - Preheat the oven to 350F Step 14 - Lube up your baking tray Step 15 - Add the butter, white sugar and brown sugar into a mixing bowl Step 16 - Mix it all together until it becomes one consistency Step 17 - Add 2 eggs Step 18 - Add one teaspoon of vanilla Step 19 - Dissolve the baking soda in the hot water and add to the mixture Step 20 - Add half of the candy bacon Step 21 - Add 3 cups of flour Step 22 - Add 2 cups of chocolate chips Step 23 - Flatten the cookies out on the baking trays Step 24 - Put the cookies in the oven for about 15 minutes or until they become golden brown Step 25 - Snip off the bottom corner of the bag of ice cream Step 26 - Squeeze out the ice cream onto the cookie Step 27 - Top the ice cream with the rest of the candy bacon Step 28 - Close that sandwich
