- description: WATCH BEFORE READING: first and foremost, thank you for being here, right now, reading this. that support already means the world. so, prideland. yes yes, i can't seem to get over cheesy references to the lion king, but, it's because of how much influence it has on my life. simba left his kingdom. vanished. thought of never returning. but when it mattered most, came back and took back what was his. a recurring theme to my journey considering i leave every other week or so. :) ala return of simba. but i'm over excusing that because that's ME. and i don't doubt that it has the potential of happening again. the way my mind state is flowing today may not be the same way it flows in a month. and of course i want to be better. of course i want to be healthy spiritually. but i don't think you can force it and that's what finding yourself in life is all about. before i explain prideland. yes, DOSEofFOUSEY is coming back. but i have to do this first, for me. for the movie we're shooting about myself and the bruh bruhs, we needed a soundtrack. you know, like the end credits song that the whole movie is about. they asked me what i wanted it to be. OF COURSE i could use any j. cole song. OF COURSE i could put return of simba. but then something else came to mind. the soundtrack is about MY life. the sound, the story, the flow it's all a representation of ME. so who better to record and release a song on MY life than...ME. first things first, i'm not a rapper. haha. but it doesn't mean i can't write. and even if it sounds like doo doo, that's a representation of the soundtrack of MY life. so prideland is going to be the name of the song that represents all of 2015. it's going to be rapped by me. i am not trying to be a rapper and i do not want you to listen to my mixtape. lol. i just want you to hear how i feel. i was going to release the music video january 1st but i might just release the song and lyric video on the 1st, allow you to digest it and then come back with the music video. so yeah. there you have it. if you don't want to support me through this, i understand. i wish you the best and i thank you for always supporting me. if you would like to support, thank you. thank you for never giving up on me when you had every reason in the world to. :) #Prideland
