Cage Gods Promotions announced today that its first event will take place on Sunday, June 3 from the Astro Centre in Enniscorthy, Wexford. An outstanding five-round 84 KG title fight rematch between Hard hitting Henry Fadipe and explosive contender John Redmond will headline the card, with the winner becoming Cage Gods inaugural champion. The pair previously met with Fadipe coming out victorious since then Redmond has protested his loss and is out for revenge in this middle weight grudge match. The Co -- Main event pairs off MMA Lucan's Aslan Bisayew against Drogheda MMA's Aleksandr Muzciuk in a light weight C class championship fight which is sure to be a huge fight! Roy Billington of Cage God Promotions broke down the fights " Henry Fadipe vs John Redmond is set to be a all out war with both fighters standing toe to toe until somebody drops, This rematch has been long awaited by Irish fight insiders after Redmond complained of a premature stoppage in the first fight". When asked about the Light Weight Fight between Aslan Bisayew and Aleksandr Muzciuk. Billington said "Aleksandr and Aslan are amongst the best amateur prospects at the moment and June 3rd will give them a opportunity to live up to their hype." Henry Fadipe and John Redmond are both eager to set the record straight and you can expect a barrage of verbal warfare at our press conference.
