Il giocatore non ha però ripagato le attese e lasciato la sua formazione in inferiorità numerica. De Rossi, purtroppo, non è nuovo a gesti di questo tipo, si ricorda - ad esempio - la gomitata nei Mondiali del 2006 in Italia-Stati Uniti che gli costò una pesantissima squalifica fino alla finale di Berlino. Klose led the attack, with support from Hernanes, Mauri and Candreva. Roma made one change with De Rossi coming into midfield in place of PanagiotisTachtsidis. In a typically attacking Zdenek Zeman line-up, Francesco Totti, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Lamella featured in a three-pronged attack.
