"empty hope" means that everybody has hope but this hope isn't real it's only illusion. "empty hope" isn't "hopelessness". STORY: 1) 1st part is recept how to make human (at alchemy)... the text should be hard to read for you. And this is right the illusion in hope. (you want to see it, but you can't.. it's blurred) 2) next you can see all "wrong" thing that happened in history.
