- description: MOS MAIORUM Mos Maiorum is a Joint Police Operation launched by the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. All Schengen States and cooperating countries are invited to participate. The overall objective is to eliminate the illegal routes to the EU and to increase control of the irregular migrants in the Schengen area. As a consequence of this, a witch hunt against irregular migrants has begun. The operation takes place all around Europe between the 13th and the 26th of October this year. REVA REVA is short for "Rättssäkert och Effektivt Verkställighetsarbetestands" (in English: "Legally secure and efficient execution of deportation"), and is a collaboration between the Police, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and Migration Board. The project aims to increase the number of of deportations, and do them more efficiently. The Border Police's methods in connection with, or as a consequence, REVA has been criticized numerous times to be discriminatory when the internal immigration controls was made without reasonable cause, when people were stopped only because of appearance, so called racial profiling. #BänganLagerblad
