- description: A pit bull is recovering from surgery on Sunday, after being stabbed several times during a disturbing attack outside his owner’s South L.A. home. Reports of a dog being stabbed near 10th Avenue and West Florence Avenue were made to police around 4 a.m. early Saturday morning. Spartacus, the pit bull mix was rushed to Pet Care Clinic where surgeons spent two hours and 1,000 stitches to save the two year old’s life.
