At issue was that Price didn’t want to share information to the media which the opposition could use to their advantage. In this case, he was talking about a report that Devin Mesoraco was away from the team on Sunday and unavailable as a pinch-hitter. He was also upset that word leaked out that Mesoraco and Tucker Barnhart were on the same flight to St. Louis last Friday before Price got a chance to tell Kyle Skipworth he was being sent to the minors. By Rosecrans’ count, there “were 77 uses of the “F” word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).”
