The conditions are nearly there and the forecast looks good so by this time tomorrow, we should be enjoying a nice top up to the runs. Did you see that, no gags today, just a good old fashion, professional snow report. A top of 1 degree is expected today moderate to strong winds. Cloud cover is thick with low visibility but we are not complaining because the snow should start falling in the afternoon and intensify in the evening. The bulk of forecast snow fall is expected on Saturday so watch this space for updates. 8 Lifts are set to turn with the best skiing and boarding conditions to be found on Little Buller Spur and Shakey Knees. Conditions are patchy but we have continuous terrain on the main open runs. The snow is firm packed and will only soften slightly today as it remains nice and cold. I could be going out on a limb here but August looks to be shaping up the right way with more snow falls expected.
