As the car in the footage changes lanes, the wheels lose traction and it begins to skid across the road. Then in one heart-stopping instant the vehicle flips over, and finally comes to rest along the side of the road. The video was recorded by a Royal Canadian Mounted Police vehicle. The driver was reportedly unharmed. 'Road conditions can change in a heartbeat,' the video warns. 'Be ready for anything and drive for the conditions.' Snow related collisions are widely reported across the Canadian province. Part of the danger is how quickly road conditions change. The video is part of a safe communities initiative called, 'Could this be you?' aimed at keeping Alberta's roadways safe.
