A flash mob with a difference busted out moves and blew bubbles as part of the Diwali Festival celebrations in Auckland. On Sunday 14 October 2012, the mob began its surprise performance with around 250 people blowing bubbles, before around 130 of them kicked off their dancing routine to 1990s Govinda songs. Crowds stopped and watched at the traffic lights on Queen St opposite Aotea Square. The bubble flashmob was to the Indian 90s classic romantic 'Phela Nasha' followed by 'May Main Toh Raste Se Jaa Raha Tha' from Coolie No 1. The energy, fun and joy was evident. The aim was to bring random people from different walks of life to just have fun and spread joy, we just did that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ First and foremost, a big ginormous THANK YOU for being a part of this- I hope you had a fun ride.
