Joey, a 16-month-old toddler from Little Rock, Arkansas, was shopping with her mother at a local supermarket when she displayed the very ordinary gesture of affection. However, since footage of the touching moment was uploaded to social media, it became an immediate hit and has gained more than 41 million views since. In the 43-second video, Joey was seen wandering around a supermarket while the camera followed. Obviously a little unsteady on her feet, she's also still sucking on a dummy. The toddler started waving at everyone from a man in a mobility chair to a member of staff with a walking stick. Touchingly, everyone who the little girl waves at also return the gesture. Towards the end of the video, she spots an older woman standing by a meat counter. Initially she just waves at the woman but then she moves towards her and lifts up her arms for a hug. Without thinking, the woman immediately bends down to return the hug and the two embrace for several seconds. The video was first shared on the Love What Matters page on Facebook on February 6. Joey's mother Caitlin Baum wrote in the comments: 'Wow. That is all I can say! Joey is my daughter. I Never imagined this video would get the kind of response that it has! 'I am so happy that she has been able to move so many people.' Many other Facebook users were also extremely positive about the video. One user, Lisa Campbell Harrington, even wrote 'Love conquers all'. Since then, it's had millions of views as well as hundreds of thousands of people liking, sharing and commenting on the footage.
