- description: Friday 9 August has marked a significant moment in the history of St Andrew's College with the official re-opening of Strowan House. Over 150 guests attended the ceremony and all students from Years 8 -- 13 gathered in the Quad to enjoy the moment. In spite of the freezing conditions people were warmed by the beautiful rendition of "Flower of Scotland" sung by Frances Campbell and Harry Grigg and accompanied by Isaac Shatford. A poignant moment was Rector Christine Leighton reading a poem dedicated to Strowan House, which was written by our writer-in-residence Kerrin Sharpe. This is the poem you can hear in the video.
