Their horse bolted after it was spooked, possibly after it was clipped by a tour bus. Witnesses tell CTV News the carriage was speeding through downtown streets, when they noticed it had no driver, only a woman clinging to the passenger seat and screaming. The horse stopped after the carriage hit a car. The carriage company says the horse is not injured, but animal activists believe the accident highlights the need to ban horse drawn carriage rides.
