- description: New Zealand sailors and soldiers were immersed in one of the largest amphibious exercises the US Marine Corps has run in many years. Held at Camp Pendlenton in Southern California, the exercise focused on developing the amphibious skills and knowledge of the forces involved. Personnel from the Delta Company, 2nd/1st Battalion, Operational Dive Team (ODT) and Mine Counter Measures Team (MCMT) worked along side with members from United States, Japan and Canada in clearing and occupying the beach for the assault. In this video our soldiers from Delta company performed an air assault from Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey Helicopter to secure the road junction ahead of the main force.
