- description: Rocky is a 3 year old male terrier cross who came to the centre as a stray. He is a charming boy with lots of energy. He likes nothing better than a good run in our big field with his canine friends. He loves toys especially teddies as he likes to snuggle up with them at bed time. Rocky needs a home that understands the terrier breed and who are home majority of the time as he does not like being left for long periods of time. He is looking for an adult only home and to be the only dog so he can have the attention to himself. Please contact the rehoming centre for more information about Rocky and Quincy on 01227 792505 or visit them at: Radfall Road, Chestfield, Nr Whitstable, Kent, CT5 3ER. Opening times are 12pm-4pm everyday except Wednesdays and we are now open late on Thursdays until 8pm. ******************** Here are some more tips to follow to prevent your dog suffering in the heat here: http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/az/h/heat/default.aspx Reminder: we urge you to please not risk leaving your dog alone in the car. Even if your car is in the shade or the day is overcast, temperatures can reach fatal levels in as little as 20 minutes. If you see a distressed dog in a vehicle please call 999, or either the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999 or the Scottish SPCA on 03000 999 999. ******************** Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 16,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 18 Rehoming Centres nationwide.
