Additional charges may be pending. 7:45 a.m., Feb. 13 — Police haven't confirmed but friends have identified the man who was taken from the scene of the Tumon stabbings last night and placed into police custody as Chad De Soto. 1:40 a.m., Feb. 13 — Three people are dead and 11 others injured after an unidentified man drove his car through the sidewalk in front of The Plaza and Outrigger Resort Guam last night, crashed into the ABC Store, then got out and started stabbing people. Guam Police Department Chief Fred Bordallo, Gov. Eddie Calvo and other officials held a conference at around 1 a.m. today at GPD's Tumon precinct. Bordallo confirmed that they had a "young adult male" in custody but didn't identify the man. He said there were a total of 14 victims that were hurt either as the car plowed through the sidewalk and into the ABC Store, or afterwards, when the suspect got out of his blue Toyota Yaris and started stabbing people. Bordallo didn't specify the types of injuries the victims sustained. Guam Fire Department spokesman Lt. Ed Artero, said 14 people were transported to the Guam Memorial Hospital last night. Guam Visitors Bureau has translators at the hospital. Gov. Eddie Calvo said he's reached out to the Japanese Consulate and is going to work with the victims' families, providing support and assistance. 12:20 a.m., Feb. 13 — A total of 14 people were injured outside the ABC Store in the Plaza, according to the Guam Fire Department. Two of the injured required CPR en route to Guam Memorial Hospital, said Lt. Ed Artero, Guam Fire Department spokesman. 11:20 p.m., Feb. 12 — Police have apprehended a man, but aren't identifying him or confirming that he is the suspect who ran his car into the ABC Store in The Plaza. At least one witness, Ashley Quichocho, 18, of Dededo, was at the Jungle Java Cafe with her friends and cousins when she saw the car plow through the front driveway of the Outrigger Guam Resort.
