Fiancé accidentally drops engagement ring into ocean during proposal

Kayla Harrity wrote on her Facebook page that her then-boyfriend, Matthew, got down on one knee outside a restaurant on the North Carolina coast. When he opened the ring box, the ring fell out and through a crack on the deck. Six people, including strangers, jumped in the water to help look for the ring and, amazingly, found it an hour and a half later. On Facebook, Harrity thanked those who helped her and announced her plans to marry her new fiancé, Matthew.
